So, as you may know, elections are over in the U.S. and a new president has been appointed. It’s official: Donald Trump is the winner.
2016 Winner Has Been Selected
Good or bad, he will be enjoying his stay at the White House for four full years from now.
We are aware that both Hillary and Trump, until now, have just been puppets in a show put on by the elite society.
At the end of the day, politics are merely a game of cat and mouse.
Maybe all these years we have been disillusioned about the fact that we, as a nation, in fact, help pick the winner, the future of our country.
So much for Roosevelt’s belief that
“Presidents are selected, not elected.”
As Geroge Carlin states, for a long time people did and still continue to vote for the wrong society club who “don’t give a f**k about us”.
Scared to React?
Why does it always have to be four years until we get to change the president? Taking into consideration our winner and his statements until now, we might as well start losing hope in the American democracy.
Unlike Obama who was able to make significant changes and tried to prove us that the government served the people when thinking about Trump, on the other hand, we should not expect the same.
Truth is, we are responsible for all the decisions we take.
“We blame society, but we are society.”
The world we live in is corrupt. And it will continue to be so as long as we are lead by today’s politicians.
In the end, every politician or winner does the same thing day after day: follow their own personal agenda so only they can benefit.
They consider themselves superior, so they separate themselves from the rest of the world. But why is this?
The majority of us still lives with the belief that we should be the change if we want the world to change. But can we really accomplish this if selfishness still rules the world we live in, where everyone follows only it’s own goals?
“Seek to overcome that in yourself which most disturbs you in other people.” – Thomas à Kempis
As we said, consciousness is the main factor that determines the bad shape in which our world is. This also means that a big change in everyone’s consciousness could be the catalyst for a bigger change. And by this change, make us reach a new, better era.
“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” – Albert Einstein
Our New Era
But we must also focus on how to create this new era. We must not try to heal our systems, or to find better leaders. Humanity must fin a way to create new and conscious systems. And we have to become aware of ourselves and the others and become our own better leaders.
In a book called “Ishmael: An Adventure of the Mind and Spirit” we can find a more insightful view:
“There’s nothing fundamentally wrong with people. Given a story to enact that puts them in accord with the world, they will live in accord with the world. But given a story to enact that puts them at odds with the world, as yours does, they will live at odds with the world. Given a story to enact in which they are the lords of the world, they will ACT like lords of the world. And, given a story to enact in which the world is a foe to be conquered, they will conquer it like a foe, and one day, inevitably, their foe will lie bleeding to death at their feet, as the world is now.”
But I ask you, what is inspiring us to do what we do every day? And by what principles and goals are we living our lives?
Mister Martin Luther King himself, during one of his speeches, told us something that fits this question perfectly:
“And I say to you, I have also decided to stick with love, for I know that love is ultimately the only answer to humankind’s problems. And I’m going to talk about it everywhere I go. For I have seen too much hate. […] and I say to myself that hate is too great a burden to bear. I have decided to love. If you are seeking the highest good, I think you can find it through love. And the beautiful thing is that we aren’t moving wrong when we do it, because John was right, God is love. He who hates does not know God, but he who loves has the key that unlocks the door to the meaning of ultimate reality.
And so I say to you today, my friends, that you may be able to speak with the tongues of men and angels; you may have the eloquence of articulate speech; but if you have not love, it means nothing. Yes, you may have the gift of prophecy; you may have the gift of scientific prediction and understand the behavior of molecules; you may break into the storehouse of nature and bring forth many new insights; yes, you may ascend to the heights of academic achievement so that you have all knowledge; and you may boast of your great institutions of learning and the boundless extent of your degrees; but if you have not love, all of these mean absolutely nothing.”
So rise up humanity, and become the change you have waiter for so long.
