Physics, Metaphysics and the Consciousness Connection: Thomas Campbell is the creator of a Theory of Everything (ToE) which unifies science and philosophy, physics and metaphysics, mind and matter, the normal and the paranormal. It integrates the whole of human experience into one scientific understanding.
Campbell’s ToE is based directly on his own scientific research and firsthand experience. It represents the results and conclusions of thirty years of careful scientific exploration of the boundaries and contents of reality from both the physical and metaphysical perspectives.
He began researching consciousness together with Bob Monroe at Monroe Laboratories in the early 1970s where he and a few others were instrumental in getting Monroe’s laboratory for the study of consciousness up and running.
Campbell has been experimenting with, and exploring the subjective and objective mind ever since. For the past thirty years, he has been focused on scientifically exploring the properties, abilities and limits of consciousness.
At the same time, he excelled as a working scientist, a professional physicist dedicated to pushing back the frontiers of state of the art technology, large-system simulation, technology development, integration, and complex system vulnerability and risk analysis.
By demanding high quality repeatable, empirical, evidential data to separate what’s real from what’s imaginary or illusory; he has scientifically derived this comprehensive model of reality that subsumes modern science, describes our objective material reality, and is universally applicable.
Campbell’s ToE makes it clear that what we call objective physical reality is only one part of the larger puzzle of existence. His model of reality provides a sound theoretical basis for once and for all understanding the scientific, philosophical, and technical enigmas that have troubled scientists, scholars, and philosophers for decades.
More importantly though, Campbell’s ToE provides a scientific foundation for answering many of the most unfathomable and pressing ontological questions that have challenged humankind since time immemorial – since men and women first looked up into a starlit sky and wondered who and why they were.
